Welcome to my home on the Internet, I certainly hope you enjoy your visit.

My Very First QSL Card

My very first QSL Card

While actually having grown up in an "Amateur Radio Family", Mom and Dad were both Licensed Amateur Radio Operators, and having done my share of burning wires in Dad's shack, it was not until I got out on my own that I decided to tackle the Morse Code requirement to obtain my license.

I obtained my novice license in August of 1978 and was issued the call sign of KA5CDJ, which I have retained while advancing thru the ranks of Amateur Radio.  I enjoyed my first year as a novice while building my code proficiency.  I even stuck my neck out and participated in "Novice Roundup", which I  most thoroughly enjoyed.

My only regret is not having obtained my license earlier; and having been able to more thoroughly enjoy this wonderful hobby while still living with Mom and Dad.

I have thru the year's continued to enjoy this wonderful hobby and it's MANY facets and avenues for not only exploring the wonders of electronics and RF but also the MANY wonderful people that it has allowed me to come in contact with!

PLEASE, Bear With us as this site is being TOTALLY redesigned and will be under CONSTANT update for the next few months, as we find time to do same.
